School Terms

These School Terms apply to any individual we give login access to the Future Schools dashboard on behalf of a school ("School User", "you"). They sit alongside, and take precedence over, the Website Terms of Use on any point specific to dashboard access. Our Privacy Policy also applies.

1. What the Dashboard Gives You

The dashboard lets you view profile and enquiry information for parents who have chosen, through the Platform, to share their child's profile with your school. It is provided to help your admissions team monitor their enquiries.

2. Access and Account Security

You must keep your login credentials confidential and must not share them outside your school's admissions team. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove access at any time if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, or at the end of your school's relationship with Future Schools.

3. Data Protection — Your Responsibilities as a School

When a parent shares their child's profile with your school, your school becomes an independent data controller for that information from the point you receive it — Future Schools is not responsible for what your school does with it after that point. By accepting these Terms, your school agrees to:

• process the information only for genuine admissions and enquiry-handling purposes, and not for any unrelated purpose (including general marketing);
• comply with UK data protection law in its own handling of the information, including honouring the parent's data protection rights if they contact your school directly;
• keep the information secure and not disclose it to any third party except where necessary to progress the admissions process or as required by law;
• delete or return the information in line with your school's own retention policy once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was shared for.

Future Schools is not liable for how a school processes information after it has been shared in accordance with a parent's instructions.

4. Confidentiality

You must not disclose or publish non-public information about the Platform, including its functionality, matching methodology, or any content of the dashboard, without our prior written consent.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use the dashboard to contact parents about anything unrelated to their enquiry, attempt to extract or export data in bulk beyond normal use of the dashboard, share your login outside your admissions team, or otherwise misuse the Platform in the ways set out in the Website Terms of Use.

6. Fees

Dashboard access is currently provided to schools free of charge during this onboarding phase. If we introduce a paid arrangement in future, we will give your school reasonable notice and updated terms before any charge applies.

7. Intellectual Property

We (or our licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Platform and dashboard. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to your school. Your school retains ownership of any information it provides to us (such as updated admissions contact details).

8. Term and Termination

Either your school or Future Schools may end this arrangement at any time by giving written notice. We may also suspend or terminate dashboard access immediately for a breach of these Terms, or of the school's data protection obligations in Section 3.

9. Liability and Governing Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our liability to your school under these Terms is limited to direct losses and excludes indirect or consequential loss. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
